1. Acceptance of Terms & About 88 STUDIOS

Welcome to Playce, a mobile multiplayer game developed and operated under the studio project brand 88 STUDIOS (“we”, “us”, or “our”). 88 STUDIOS is an independent game development studio project and is not currently an incorporated company.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or playing Playce, or by using our website (88studios.net) and related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or play Playce.

2. Age Requirements & Eligibility (13+)

Playce is intended exclusively for players who are 13 years of age or older. Playce does not provide a parental-consent or parent-managed account registration system.

• If you are under the age of 13, you may not register, access, or play Playce under any circumstances.
• You must provide truthful and accurate age declarations when prompted. Do not falsify your age to bypass age restrictions.
• If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, you may need permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

If we discover or reasonably suspect that an account was created by or belongs to an individual under the age of 13, we will promptly terminate the account and delete or anonymize personal data associated with it.

3. Playce Accounts & Authentication

Playce uses secure third-party single sign-on authentication providers:

• Sign in with Apple (Apple Inc.)
• Sign in with Google (Google LLC)

Playce does not maintain or collect standalone raw passwords for player accounts. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID or Google Account credentials. Any activity occurring under your authenticated Playce account is your responsibility.

You agree never to sell, trade, rent, or transfer your Playce account to any other person. 88 STUDIOS staff will never ask for your Apple, Google, or authenticator passwords or one-time verification codes.

4. Limited License & Intellectual Property

Subject to your ongoing compliance with these Terms, 88 STUDIOS grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, and limited license to download, install, and play Playce on compatible mobile devices (iOS and Android) for your personal, non-commercial entertainment.

All title, ownership rights, trademarks, brand assets, source code, game client assets, artwork, animations, sounds, and virtual items in Playce remain the exclusive intellectual property of 88 STUDIOS and its licensors. You may not decompile, reverse-engineer, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of Playce without express written permission.

5. User-Generated Content & Social Features

Playce includes interactive social features allowing players to communicate and organize:

• Match text chat, clan text chat, and private direct messages;
• Clan creation, clan naming, and clan descriptions;
• Profile avatar image uploads;
• Real-time voice chat during multiplayer matches;
• Support inquiries and uploaded screenshots.

By submitting content (profile images, clan descriptions, chat messages), you grant 88 STUDIOS a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and moderate that content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and securing the Services. You represent that your content does not violate third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.

6. Acceptable Use & Fair Play

Fair competition is the foundation of Playce. You agree that you will strictly comply with our Community Rules. Violations include, but are not limited to:

• Using cheats, memory editors, speed hacks, aimbots, or modified client packages (APKs/IPAs) to gain an unfair advantage;
• Exploiting software bugs or glitches rather than promptly reporting them to Support;
• Using bots, scripts, automated input systems, or unauthorized third-party tools;
• Disrupting match integrity, cross-teaming, or intentional feeding in competitive game modes;
• Harassing, threatening, stalking, abusing, or defaming other players;
• Sharing hateful slurs, sexually explicit content, or engaging in predatory conduct;
• Attempting to obtain authentication codes, passwords, or personal credentials from others;
• Evading active mutes, bans, or account restrictions.

7. Plax (Virtual Currency) & Virtual Goods

Playce may offer a premium virtual currency named Plax, as well as digital content including texture packs, cosmetics, and virtual items.

• No Real-Money Value: Plax and virtual goods are digital entertainment licenses. They have no monetary value outside of Playce and do not constitute real currency, stored value, or property of any kind.
• Non-Transferable: Plax and virtual goods cannot be sold, traded, gifted between players, or transferred to third-party accounts, except where specifically enabled through game features.
• No Cash Value: Plax and virtual goods cannot be redeemed, cashed out, or exchanged for real-world money or financial compensation from 88 STUDIOS. Purchases of Plax remain subject to the refund policies of Apple Inc. or Google LLC and applicable mandatory statutory consumer rights.

8. Randomized Reward Boxes & Odds Disclosure

Playce may include randomized reward boxes (such as cosmetic mystery crates) that yield virtual items based on probabilistic chance.

• Virtual Rewards Only: Items obtained from randomized boxes are purely virtual cosmetic or in-game goods intended solely for use inside Playce.
• Published Probabilities: All box outcomes are determined programmatically based on the published odds displayed adjacent to the purchase action before opening.
• No Real-Money Cash-Out: Items and boxes cannot be cashed out, redeemed for real-world currency, or exchanged for monetary consideration.
• No Player-to-Player Transfer: Items and Plax cannot be traded, sold, or transferred between players or accounts.
• Regional Availability: The availability of randomized boxes may be restricted or disabled in specific jurisdictions where required by local law or platform policies.

9. Purchases, Billing & Refunds

All financial transactions for Playce in-app purchases are processed directly by authorized platform stores:

• Apple App Store (for iOS users)
• Google Play Store (for Android users)

88 STUDIOS does not directly collect, process, or store credit card numbers, bank details, or billing addresses. Payment management, billing disputes, and refund requests are governed primarily by the applicable Apple or Google platform terms:

• For purchases made on iOS, refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.
• For purchases made on Android, refund requests must be submitted through Google Play purchase history support.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory statutory consumer rights, warranty guarantees, or withdrawal rights that cannot be waived under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction.

10. Moderation, Sanctions & Appeals

To safeguard the community, 88 STUDIOS reserves the right to review reported behavior, player-submitted content, and match telemetry. If a violation of these Terms or our Community Rules occurs, we may take appropriate enforcement action, including:

• Informational warnings;
• Removal or reset of inappropriate usernames, profile pictures, or clan descriptions;
• Temporary or permanent chat/voice mutes;
• Temporary competitive queue restrictions;
• Temporary account suspensions;
• Permanent account termination in cases of severe cheating, harassment, or repeated violations.

Enforcement decisions are discretionary, context-dependent, and tailored to the nature and severity of the infraction. While automated safety filters may temporarily flag, mute, or restrict suspected violations pending evaluation, automated detection alone does not imply irreversible sanctions without appropriate review or opportunity for appeal. Severe violations (such as confirmed client tampering, unauthorized exploit use, or egregious safety threats) may result in immediate account suspension.

Appeals: If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, you may file an appeal through Playce Support by contacting support@88studios.net. Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that a sanction will be reversed.

11. Account Deletion & Termination

You may request the deletion of your Playce account at any time. For complete instructions and details on how deletion is handled, please visit our dedicated Account Deletion Page.

Upon account deletion, your account identifiers, profile data, and social ties are permanently removed or irreversibly anonymized within a reasonable period or timeframe required by applicable law. Narrowly necessary records may be retained strictly as required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, anti-cheat security (such as maintaining account restrictions to prevent ban evasion), or dispute resolution, and no broader than necessary. Voluntary account deletion forfeits all unspent Plax balances and unlocked digital goods without recovery.

12. Disclaimers & Reasonable Limitation of Liability

Playce and all related Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. 88 STUDIOS does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or free from viruses or other harmful elements.

To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, 88 STUDIOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or intangible losses arising from your access to or inability to access Playce.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or statutory consumer guarantees. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited strictly to the minimum extent permitted by local law.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to your use of Playce shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of Azerbaijan (where the studio operation is based), without regard to conflict of law principles.

Nothing in this section shall deprive consumers residing in other jurisdictions (such as the European Union, United Kingdom, or other regions) of the protection afforded to them by mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect product updates, technical changes, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide in-game notice.

Your continued use of Playce following the posting of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
